My love for Placer County - "Bishops Pumpkin Farm"

What a great way to celebrate Fall with a trip to "Bishops Pumpkin Farm" in Wheatland.

There are many traditions my family has with growing up in this area. Bishops is one of those. I have been going here since my girls were little, and now I am taking my grand kids. Each year we make our annual trek out to feed the animals at the Petting Zoo, ride the Train, go down all the slides, roam through the Pumpkin Patch, take a spin on the Carousel, eat some fabulous homemade Pumpkin or Apple Pie, stroll through the Gift Shop, watch the Apple peeling and cider demo and sample the cider, and end it with a ride on the Hay Wagon and picking out the perfect Jack O Lanterns for my little ones! What a nice day it was.

Many people are now joining in these Annual Traditions and the Farm has almost tripled in size since we first began going here back in the mid 80's.  What wonderful memories I have of this place and bringing my own children out here.  Always a great time and some good, old fashioned family fun!

Below are some of the photos I took on last weekends journey to find the perfect pumpkin for my two little ones. I hope you enjoy the photos and be sure to visit Bishops as well.  It is great to support our local merchants as they continue to offer us a way to make memories for our own.  Many thanks to them and the traditions they offer to us.

The Petting Zoo gives many children a chance to see Farm animals up close.

The Hay Bin - I love the smiles and the heights these two reached!
Plenty of fun to have ...

There's a special lot for the overgrown Pumpkins

The girls loved the slides and the Hay Wagon was a hit with grandma as well =)

Pumpkins in all shapes, colors an varieties...

Making Cider and peeling apples for those wonderful pies!

riding the Carousel .. so much fun who says you have to grow up!

The Gift Shop is always one of my favorite places to visit. Lot of goodies for all the
Holiday seasons and some beautiful wreaths of the Fall leaves.

These two...  LOL..

We hope you get a chance to visit one of the lovely places in the area.
Enjoy some great times and make some fun memories and Fall to you.

Until next month ... Best wishes and enjoy your days

New Changes!! New Company and a New Team Player as well....

Yes it is true!  I have returned to running my Company under "Re/Max Gold".  I am happy to be back with a Top Industry Leader and strong contender in this area.
I previously worked for Re/Max Gold over 8 years ago, before I joined Lyon Real Estate where I had been the past 7 1/2 years. I really do enjoy what the larger Companies can offer an Agent and so I am happy to be there.

If you wonder why as Agents we may choose different Companies it is usually for a change in business, a higher commission or better benefits or location. There are all different reasons. We are Sub Contractors so we move around depending on our wants and needs, but it is all basically the same since how we do business really does not change. However, what we can now offer our Clients as a result of these changes will vary depending on Company size and benefits to us as well.

Also of good news is an addition to my business. My long time Best Friend of many years (28 to be exact), has now joined me to Team up as my Partner, and assist in running the Company. I am happy to welcome Mrs. Tammy Hanaway of Loomis CA. Tammy and I met as neighbors long time ago in Rocklin, then we were lucky to live a few houses away from each other again in Loomis, for about 10 years. Our families have been friends forever and so the addition is awesome!! I know good things will come as a result of this and an upswing in business as I will now have help and be able to accomplish twice as much.

So thanks to Loomis, Rocklin and Roseville, where I continue to grow and represent the great people that I meet. Tammy and I are very down to earth, upbeat, Christian, and hard workers who believe in family first and a strong work ethic. Since we are so much alike it will be easy to now run a Company together. We look forward to helping as many of you as possible. Thanks so much and look forward to seeing you soon!

Many Thanks~

Life... my family grows again!

A BIG Welcome to Bodie Anthony Paul...

Yes it has been a very busy, past 60 days with the birth of my New Grandson, and the first boy in my family period. We have all pitched in and our family has bonded and once again pulled together. I am lucky to have two daughters that are both strong and beautiful. And for us family has always come first. We have lost many family members and so the ones that are left, are worth tons to us.
Bodie is one special guy and is lucky to have three wonderful women taking shifts, taking care of him.  Life is wonderful and it just got even better!
